Jeff Ifrah, the lawyer who created an account on 2p2 recently intending to answer questions filed a motion with the court 2 days ago, to have his company, Ifrah PLLC to be relieved as attorneys for the defense of FTP - according to Subject: Poker. Ifrah will resign as the attorney for Tiltware LLC, Vantage Ltd., Filco Ltd., Pocket Kings Ltd., Pocket Kings Consulting Ltd., Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson, Jennifer Harman-Traniello, Erick Lindgren, Erik Seidel, Andrew Bloch, Mike Matusow and Allen Cunningham. As the reason behind his decision, he named the extraordinarily complicated and renewed motions by the plaintiffs that raise "unreasonable difficulty to carry out his employment effectively and would result on an unreasonable financial burden on the law firm."

As we reported in July, amongst many others, WPT and WSOP finalist Todd Perry filed a class action complaint against Full Tilt Poker's management including Raymond Bitar, Nelson Burtnick, Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson, John Juanda, Jennifer Harman-Traniello, Phil Gordon, Erick Lindgren, Erik Seidel, Andy Bloch, Mike Matusow, Gus Hansen, Allen Cunningham and Patrik Antonius. Gordon was soon removed from the list, as it was proved that he did not take part in the company's leadership. The 57-page complaint demanded the repayment of all the Full Tilt player's funds with interest, plus it accused FTP with money laundering and bank fraud.

It is uncertain, however, whether Ray Bitar, Nelson Burtnick or Gus Hansen are left out of Ifrah's list because they are still represented by Ifrah, or because they were not in the first place.

Even though, Ifrah's resignation is highly unexpected, since he represented Full Tilt Poker just a few days ago, answering (more or less) the FTP players' questions.
